Photo Frame

I got this cute frame at Michael's today, it was on sale for $16.49, came home and made photo mats using Close to My Heart Paper Garden Papers. I was done in a flash! IT's perfect for my downstairs bathroom! Used some of my favorite pictures of my three youngest children!

Really cool basket

I got this basket today at Michael's, they are normally $9.99 on sale for $5.99. My upline, Karen Morris showed them to us at her team meeting last month. It works like a frame, you raise the four flaps, remove the glass, put your matted photo down, replace the glass, and fold down the flaps! It was so EASY! The design was inspired by a card I got today from the incredibly talented Denise Anderson! I used Paper Garden Level 2 papers to decorate the bottom of the basket and used a photo I love of my Mom with my three youngest children in my grandmother's front yard.

Changing My Albums

I had a dilemma because long ago I started out my son's albums in a pretty greenish color and then the albums were discontinued so I had some greenish ones and some black leather ones and I want them all to match! Now that Close to my Heart has these clip on labels, I REALLY wanted them to match.

And some of the older greenish ones were looking pretty shabby, so I bit the bullet and was going to totally redo them, but I discovered if I cut off the jeeping and staples on the binder edge that the rest of the page fits perfectly into a Close to My Heart page protector! So the day is saved, I just cut the edges off all the pages took off the page protector sleeve and slipped the completed page along with the right hand jeeping into a Close to My Heart page protector and wha-la! My oldest son now has SEVEN matching black leather albums! And I put in a minimum of effort to get them all to match! WAHOO!!

Now I just need to catch up on the other kids......

Shopping at Archivers at the Mall of America

Archiver's is my favorite scrapbook store ever! I just went to Minnesota for a wedding so we had to stop at the Mall of America and check out Archivers! I got a cool cute purse with photo holders in it and a matching photo key ring. It has lots of fun compartments! I love it! I also got to see the new Big Bite Cropadile, YUMMY!! Keri Petit ordered them for us, I can't wait to get it. I found a case for my Cropadile and the Big Bite at Hobby Lobby while i was there so I picked those up too! I just love containers!! :)
